The Zskera Vaults are unlocked after completing the introduction questline in the Forbidden Reach. Once you complete the introduction questline that unlocks World and Daily Quests in the Forbidden Reach, complete the following quests to gain access to the Zskera Vaults: Helping Hand and Claw.

How to Unlock the Zskera Vault. Players can unlock the Zskera Vault by completing the quest, Helping Hand and Claw, which is available in Morqut Village. This quest will lead players to the entrance of the Zskera Vaults, where they will be offered the Zskera Vault: Az quest.

*Each key unlocks one of the doors in the vault, and there are several floors to work through. The doors will reset weekly, so you'll need 30 Zskera Vault Keys to unlock all the doors each week. Behind each locked door you'll find a variety of chests, gold piles, or boxes waiting to be looted.

The Zskera Vaults consist of a structured layout with four floors. On the first floor, there are five doors, while the second, third, and fourth floors each have eight doors. Doors within the Vaults are unlocked using Zskera Vault Keys, which are obtained from various activities in the Forbidden Reach.

Common Problems. Before access to the Vault can be gained, the Dragonscale Expedition first needs to set up in the area, which means starting with the quest Helping Hand and Claw. The only quests it will NOT let you skip are the Zskera Vault quests, which include the 6 Keys. Questline here.

Zskera Vault Key to open, you will need 30 keys to open all doors during the weekly lockout. The ground floor consists of 6 doors. Doors on the ground floor usually contain an NPC you must kill for a chest and piles of gold to spawn. The chest can contain Primordial Stones, cosmetics, and gold.

On the PTR the Zskera Vaults runs I did were for Vault Az (which had 29 doors to open) and Vault Urr (which had 30 doors) but there were at least two more (Vault Kx and Vault Ix) which I never tested which could contain more or fewer doors but I suspect they're all very close and you should need roughly 30 keys for ...

Some high-end vaults employ a two piece key to be used in conjunction with a combination lock. This key consists of a long stem as well as a short stamp which should be safeguarded separately and joined to open the vault door.

Unsealing. The unseal process is done by running vault operator unseal or via the API. This process is stateful: each key can be entered via multiple mechanisms from multiple client machines and it will work.

The operator unseal allows the user to provide a portion of the root key to unseal a Vault server. Vault starts in a sealed state. It cannot perform operations until it is unsealed. This command accepts a portion of the master key (an "unseal key").

Use the interface to position each portion of the bridge correctly. Walk across and extinguish the final flame before returning to the Sealed Vault. The vault should no longer have any chains so you can now rotate the interface in front of the vault to open it.
