Performance of the Nike Kyrie 8:
As controversial as Kyrie Irving is, his signature basketball shoe continues to be a quality performer. The traction is what you come to expect from the Kyrie lineup. It performs well, similarly to the previous models. For the Kyrie 8, Nike implemented a forefoot Zoom Strobel that adds a new dimension of bounce while still remaining low to the ground. The materials used feel comfortable while providing quality performance. They're also thin and breathable. The lacing system helps to provide a fit that won't cause issues for most people. Reviewers also agree that the lateral containment and lockdown provided are excellent. When it comes down to it, the Nike Kyrie 8 is an excellent shoe that caters to many different playstyles.

This shoe is the best deal you can get for under $100 right now! On sale most places, you can even find it for between $50-70 if you shop around enough. Get it now!!!Very well balanced shoe with no glaring weaknesses. Forefoot zoom does have a pretty aggressive bounce for some people’s liking, but that’s a matter of preference.Step-in comfort feels plush and cushioning is great. Shoe is supportive and traction is good. This is probably the best cushioning setup in any Kyrie and my favorite.

This is my first and only Kyrie model I'll ever own for now. Ever since Kyrie left Nike for Anta, I knew I had to own at least one of his signature sneakers before it's too late. Luckily I was able to snag the South Beach colorway as shown above. Traction was great, support was awesome, cushion was actually great for a Kyrie and the materials were above average. It held up its own on the outdoors too, and as icing on the cake, I love the fact the tongue of this shoe was so plush and well-padded.

This shoe is very bouncy with its zoom strobel in the forefoot great impact protection with its zoom air unit in the heel. It has my favorite cushioning in my collection because it doesn't sacrifice any ground feel. The traction is really good on dust and overall above average. The uppers are flexible and breathable offering good lateral support. The shoe fits great if you have a narrow to small foot, and I still went down a half size. It has average durability which is its biggest flaw.

Tractions: Good, but not as good as the Jordan 36. Very slight amount of slip when planting hard with momentum, but it feels controlled and never dangerous. Dust resistant, never had to wipe. Cushion: amazing for a low shoe with a great court feel. Great hops and running feel.Fit: predictable, good support, tightened snug, true to size.Durability: great materials, looks good even after getting stomped on repeatedly. Possibly the best kyrie shoe out there. The new cushion setup gives the coveted low-to-ground feel while giving a surprising amount of bounce back. Traction is tacky and has minimal dust pickup. Materials are easy to break in and support the ankles very well. The fit is glove-like and has the perfect balance of compression for stability and flexibility for footwork and running. This is one of my favorites and I can always rely on this shoe for consistency and comfort.
