On being in Steve Clarke's starting line-up on Friday, Billy Gilmour adds: "It's up to the manager. Of course I want to start and play every game possible.
"If I did get the opportunity to walk out at the opening game at the Euros it would be amazing, it's the stuff of dreams really.
"We've got a good bunch of boys that know when to have a little bit of fun but also when to take it seriously.
"I think we're all settled, we've been around each other long enough."

On Scott McTominay, Scotland team-mate Billy Gilmour says: "We know he's been a key player for us, so it's good to have him back in training.
"He was struggling a bit with his ankle but I think he's all good now.
"We need everyone to step up, we know it's going to be a really big game against Germany, they've got really good players.
"We have been working on ourselves this week because we're good players also and we want to make sure we give the best account of ourselves."

On Toni Kroos, Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmour adds: "I think he's unbelievable. Just to watch on TV he's unbelievable, he makes the simple things 100% perfect.
"If I do get the opportunity I'll be excited to test myself against one of the best midfielders in the world, it would be great.
"I think we all know it's going to be an amazing night, the atmosphere is going to be incredible. I think it's for us to compose ourselves straight away, try and get used to the atmosphere as soon as possible."

Scotland midfielder Billy Gilmour: "We as a group, we're really good with the new boys coming in. Tommy Conway is a good boy, works hard and deserved his call-up. Whenever someone comes into the squad we want to welcome them.
"It's a competitive midfield, we all want to play every game, fighting against each other. It's a good competitiveness, we all want to start but at the end of the day it's up to the manager."

Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovic has been replaced by Borussia Dortmund captain Emre Can in their squad.
Pavlovic, 20, has been ruled out with tonsillitis.
Ex-Liverpool man Can, 30, has played 43 times for Germany and was chosen as Pavlovic's replacement ahead of Bayern Munich midfielder Leon Goretzka.

Ryan Dinse has travelled to Munich from Edinburgh and is making up for lost time after missing Euro 2020.
"When we qualified for the last Euros I had Covid so I missed all the games," he says.
"I'm just buzzing to be here this time. What an occasion and what an atmosphere already. I can’t wait for Friday."

Image source, XTom English: Well, Jamie, you're revisiting a tweet from almost six years ago, so I think that's funny to begin with. What I said was that he'd struggle to get into that Celtic midfield, which I believe was true at the time.
Celtic had Scott Brown, Callum McGregor, Tom Rogic, Olivier Ntcham (who was tearing it up), Stuart Armstrong, Scott Sinclair and James Forrest. They'd just won a treble. McGregor and Ntcham both scored in the Scottish Cup final.
McGinn was superb, himself. And would definitely have made his way into the team over time, maybe a short space of time. They should have signed him. Villa got him for £2m, which was a steal. I think it's amusing when people look back on a tweet from six years ago. McGinn is one of the best midfield players in Britain now. My tweet was of its time.
