Using Map Filters

The default map settings display the types of plants that are growing in the fields. Use the tab on the right to manage the filters. The “Growth” and “Soil composition” filters are the most useful. The “Growth” filter provides information on plant growth stages and when they will be ready for harvesting. You can also check if the land in the field has been prepared by plowing or cultivating.

The “Remove foliage” option is highlighted in red and applies to beets and potatoes. You must remove their upper parts before harvesting with the combine.

The “Soil composition” filter is more useful as it shows:

  1. Whether weeds have appeared in the fields,
  2. The field’s fertilization rate (which can be covered by weeds),
  3. Whether the field needs to be plowed,
  4. Whether the field needs lime spreading (it’s also required to lime newly created fields).

The map will not inform you of:

  1. Whether the field has been mulched or requires it,
  2. Whether the field requires soil rolling (unless you perform soil rolling before sowing / planting),
  3. The weed growth stage,
  4. Whether and how the field was fertilized,
  5. Whether anything is left in the field to be harvested, such as mown grass or straw.

You can also check the status of the fields by walking up to the field and hovering over it.

If you accidentally click something and everything disappears, including the filter frame and the colors on the map, you may have entered build mode. Press the second button from the bottom panel to go back to the plot preview.

Crop Calendar

The Crop Calendar is located in the game menu and shows when you can plant and harvest certain crops, sorted by month. Even if you set more days per month in the game options, the calendar layout will not change. Use it to plan when to plant and harvest your crops effectively.

  1. The green color represents the planting time, while the orange color indicates the harvest time.
  2. The calendar is the same for all maps in the game.
  3. No plant or combination of plants can produce a double harvest in a year, and the yield is not affected by the amount of time plants spend in the fields.
  4. To avoid losing your harvest, start the harvest as early as possible, and avoid harvesting in rain or snow as it reduces the yield.

You can check the stock of plants stored in the silos on the store’s fifth tab. Selecting a specific item from the list allows you to see sale points and compare the current prices per 1000 liters of product. To know exactly when to sell your crops, select the “Show Price Fluctuations” button, which displays annual price fluctuations. Remember that each item has its own limits, and purchasing factories from the map can eliminate potential sell prices.

Prices change all the time, so rewind the time until the prices at the dealer don’t stabilize at the upper limit to get the most lucrative offer. The economy in the game is based on the supply and demand system, so selling your entire stock of a product immediately can reduce demand and lower the sell price. Sale point prices also depend on the game’s economic difficulty level, which you can adjust in the game options.
