From the start, their staff are very welcoming. The customer service experience is excellent. The food is great. You really get what you pay for. Their food serving may be a bit pricey but it really gives you what you deserve. The Bistecca Fiorentina is best served medium rare. Unlike what most Filipinos think about meat that are not well-done, their medium rare meat is very flavorful and soft but not chewy. You can taste that it is seasoned to perfection and it can really very well satisfy not only your hunger but also your taste buds.

Food- Above average! Portions are huge and they taste great. We tried the steak and salad. Both filled our tummies with joy. Busog kaayo!Service- Attentive, helpful, and friendly. We celebrated my brother's birthday lunch here and they allowed us to bring our cake without any corkage fee. They assisted us with the cake as well. They provided the lighter, knife, and platitos.Atmosphere- Ambience inside was nice, clean, elegant, and homey. But for the outside, not really. There's some sort of construction going on so the scaffoldings ruined the view.

The food served was not warm enough, it's okay to prep ahead but make sure it's warm enough when it gets to the customer's table. They also don't take notes while ordering that's why they forget some stuff or interchange foods.

We went here with clothes still wet from water rafting and they still happily catered to us (Fun Fact: The owner of Cucina Higala also owns Bugsay Water Rafting). They serve Mindanao heritage cuisine, so as someone from NCR, this was a totally different experience for my taste buds. We got the following:· Beef Randang - Extremely tender beef pieces, and the "sarsa" is really flavorful.· Sinuglaw - As someone who doesn't enjoy eating fish, I liked this dish. The texture of the fish is perfect — not chewy, not too soft. The citrus flavor and creaminess of the coconut milk· Bamboo Rice - Sticky rice served inside a bamboo log, it's really flavorful and wouldn't need any viands to pair with. The taste is really reminiscent of the chinese Bak Chang.Their viands are really flavorful, so they are best paired with plain rice (rather than the flavored ones).They also have deserts, mainly under the Carmen's Best brand. After knowing that one of us is celebrating their birthday, they put a candle in our cake and performed a short number for the celebrant. I truly enjoyed my dining experience here.

During our business trip to Cagayan de Oro, my colleagues and I was suggested to go to Cucina Higala for it said to offer a very unique Cagayan de Oro dishes. And it is!The food was uniquely delicious, showcasing the region's delicacies. The beautiful ambiance and friendly staff made our experience truly enjoyable. Always lovely to dine at Cucina Higala! Food is phenomenal, staff are both friendly and true professionals, and from what my mom tells me, the owner remembers her frequenting the place–meaning they really care about their customers.It's no surprise they're claiming all these awards.As I write this review, I just went to town on their Wagyu sabaw, eating 3-4 whole plates because of it. (It was so good we didn't notice our Magic Potion chiller, which we usually run out of mid-meal.) Hahaha. One of their staff, Vlad is also super accommodating.Highly recommend! 💯

We were brought here by our gracious host, as a culmination of our business trip. When we arrived, the place is buzzing and full of people. I heard this is a place to-go when you are in Cagayan De Oro. The place is nice, especially at the second floor where you can see some relics and antique pieces the owner has set up. I must say, the food were really good (well at least for those we ordered as pictured below). Especially the fried hito ensalada, I can’t get enough of it, and it’s new to my taste. I would also like to mention with delight their pork humba, which is also very worth it. They also have this unique desert, sizzling binaki, which is a sweet corn tamales topped with vanila ice cream and caramel sauce all served in a sizzling plate. It’s surprisingly good, combining that smoky flavor into the cold dessert gives a whole lot of new experience in your taste buds. Plus, you can pour the caramel sauce yourself and make a social media content for it. All in all, it was a splendid dining experience in Cagayan De Oro. Truly a place worth traveling to. 👍

The place is very elegant and cozy. The staff were courteous, accommodating and knowledgeable especially when asked about items on the menu. The food was amazing! My favorite from our order was the Tiger Prawns sinigang. The prawns were fresh and the soup was just the perfect amount of sour. Their desserts are definitely a must try. We had their Turon and Sizzling Binaki with caramel sauce which is something that I can describe as love at first bite!

Honestly probably one of the best Filipino restaurants I've been to. Glad a friend of mine recommended this to me. I rarely go to CDO, but hopefully if I do, I'll drop by again. If there was one thing to improve maybe the availability of dishes (a lot of the dishes) weren't available when we were there, and the speed of service (especially when half of our group were hungry senior citizens). Nonetheless, great tasting food.

While this used to be a fine chinese fine dining restaurant, it now is more like a fast casual dining overall. Food is ok and affordable but its texture and accent were not like what it used to be in the 1990s. The place is also fine, or rather changed little with minimal renovation though time took its toll on the finishing. There are still plenty of decent chinese food here (pork, beef, chicken, seafoods and vegetables) and priced very reasonably but it no longer has all its quality, accent, texture, and aroma that this restaurant used to be in the 1990s.

When I’m Cagayan, don’t missed dining at Sentro and try their mouth-watering House Grilled Steak, Harvest salad and beef tendons. Must try their mashed potato too!Staff are friendly and efficient. Our family of 10 ate brunch to celebrate Father’s Day. Upon entrance of the area, a very warm, friendly and attentive staff named Lotlot greeted us. She made sure that we were comfortable because we have one senior citizen with us while we are waiting for our table to be ready. During that time she offered the menu and already took our orders so that it could be ready when we get our table. We ordered the beef tendon clay pot, grilled salmon, with sabal , chicken, steak, hamburger, salad with crab meat and seaweed with wasabi dressing. All the food that we ordered were delicious and cooked right. The sizzling oyster could use less salt! I’ve been to many restaurants all over the world, and this one does not disappoint and is probably one of the best restaurants I’ve been to here in Cagayan de Oro city. Definitely must try when looking for truly delicious Asian-American fusion dining.

The dining hall is nicely designed despite the limited space. The back-to-back lavatories are very intwresting. This place is recommended whenever you're in the city and ovewhelmed of too many options around.

Sentro 1850 is a favorite local restaurant in CDO. They've renovated the place and it looks really spacious and pretty. They have a limited menu, fewer than expected. Nonetheless, each dish is well thought of and executed. I recently ordered their Beef Moussaka and it did not disappoint. Servings per item are quite large for one person so it's best to share. Of course, with good quality and large quality comes a higher than average prices. Nonetheless, it is worth it and well recommended.

Must-visit restaurant/cafe when you are in Cagayan De Oro City! See the breathtaking night time overlooking view while dining.Ambiance is relaxed, al fresco and elevated. Interior design feels posh and home-y. Even the bathroom is aesthetic.Food is okay and somewhat pricey (basing on the portion sizes) than regular restaurants. They have different food options (mostly Filipino cuisine), offer baked selections and serve alcoholic drinks. Good option for night life activities.The place is well-thought for children too. They built a mini indoor playground. They also provided binoculars for additional entertainment. Wheelchair users can also conveniently visit as they have provided ramps too.Staff is great and approachable. Parking space is also well-managed.Will definitely come again.

The place is a must visit for first time tourists in Cagayan de Oro. You can have an overlooking view of the city but it’s best to dine here during night time. Value for food is right, with the good taste and service. They also have a huge parking space. Just make sure to use Google maps for the directions as it’s quite far from the city center.

Went there on a taxi and drivers ask p100 additional simply because of the long, winding and steep climb to the top of the hill. Half of the restaurant's guests are busy with photoshoots and selfies. Loud jazz music all night making us raise our voice a bit as we conversed between bites. Menu has a great range but the service is small compared to what you will expect with the price. Some items were also not available which can be disappointing after mulling over what to eat. The sunset over the city did amaze us.

Night time is the perfect time to come here to enjoy the fantastic view of the city while dining. Located a few miles from the city proper, coming here is also an uphill climb. Me and my college batch mates come here for a reunion and the food was worth the price. It tastes really good. You dine while enjoying the vibrant ambiance of the High Ridge. There is also an area for photo shoots where you can hold placards or slogans as a souvenir of your visit. This is a perfect place for family and friends to enjoy a memorable dining experience in a place that is soothing, away from the bustling city life.

Tried almost all their food here and it was amazing! I would recommend the sizzling sinigang if you are a fan of sinigang, bicol express, kare2 the bagoomg is delish! sinulgaw too! the bulalo soup is okay not really worth it. The frozen brazo is the bomb! The oyster sisig is not worth the price, better get their regular sisig, the street food is not also that great because the sauce doesnt really bring out the street food vibes. Truffle fries is good though. Good service, affordable and delicious food! I would also suggest the salmon rice bowl and salmon itself, dont bother with the pompano 🙂

Dine with comfort. A great place, good foods with fast service and attentive crew. They really value the presence of customers. Located just beside the road with huge parking space. They served variety of meals and drinks. From street foods gimik to main dish and desserts. The place is also cozy where you can just relax while waiting for your orders. This is our 2nd time here and find time to come back once in a while especially when there is a special occasion like this: a Mother's Day or any special events you have. Spending an occasion in this place seems turn it into an extra ordinary one. They also have branch in uptown area, might go there someday.

I recently visited Fat Chef restaurant and was amazed at how good the food tasted. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, with various colors and flavors that made it a pleasure to eat. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food we received. The service was very quick and efficient, which allowed us to enjoy our meal without having to wait too long. The ambiance in the restaurant was also great, allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves during our meal. Highly recommendable!

Highly recommending this place not only for its spacious high-ceiling interiors that shout industrial chic but its take on traditional Pinoy dishes. We love the Lengua (creamy & melts-in-your-mouth ox tongue, sinigang na baka (tender & full of half-cooked Veggies). The chicken bbq was undercooked but we didn't bother to complain cuz we were having a good time with the other dishes. Service is fast and waiter was attentive to our needs.

We went here for dinner. It was a 10 minute ride from our hotel. The restaurant is beside a mall so there's lots of taxi available. The server said that the restaurant is also owned by the mall owner.We are a party of four and our bill amounted to P2900. Our primary purpose is to try ostrich meat. The server highly recommended the salpicao over the steak, which is what we initially ordered. We followed his recommendation and enjoyed the ostrich salpicao very much. We also ordered two vegetable dishes and another viand (tuna). If you're vegetarian, there are vegetarian options to choose from.The waiting time for the food is about 15 minutes. We enjoyed our meal very much. The restaurant was not crowded, so our meals were served fast, and the servers were attentive. They accept cash and credit card as payment.

Our family entered while it was almost closing...but the staff was courteous enough to allow us to dine.Classic Filipino food done thr CDO manner. It did not disappoint. Despite not trying their famous ostrich salpicao, we ended up ordering a few.The liempo was very good. Marinated in simple ingredients and cooked just right.The kilawin was a favorite and it was indeed very refreshing and citrusy and soft. Must try!Thr shrimp in butter garlic and scallops done the same was tasty.The sizzling squid is also a must order. It was cooked perfectly thus giving you this soft and easy to bite texture.All in all... we were satisfied.

A cozy filipino restaurant located at the 2nd floor in downtown CDO. It was our 1st time here. We ordered Inihaw Tuna Panga, Kagay anon soup, Pork Sisig and Chicken barbecue. They are all good. We especially liked the Kagay anon soup, it is a seafood soup with large clams, shrimps and fish fillet. It gets crowded and full during lunch and dinner times but we were lucky to get a seat. They closes at 2pm and opens again in a later time in the evening. We came in around 1pm and 1 hour eating our meal is just isn't enough to fully enjoy their delicious food but they will for you until you finish. Service is also good!

Great food is available with the options of ramen, maki, bento, rice with topping, fried rice, shrimps, pork, and beef all prepared in Japanese manner. The place is however small and often crowded even during weekdays lunch and dinner. The service is ok but it could needs some improvement once this place gets bigger (the place is so narrow its almost like a 2.5 m wide hallway with tables and chairs).

Here's my presonal review of Tadakuma Japanese Restaurant.Food Ordered:Shoyu Ramen and Gyoza, my staple in any Japanese restaurant so I can honestly say it's easil for me to compare.Overall Feedback:The restaurant is a decent Japanese joint. Although my palate for Japanese restaurant is high, Tadakuma Japanese Restaurant ranks average in taste.Location: Very accessibleCleanliness: The diner is well kept. The interior is also nice. Staff are keeping it clean and organized.Price: Good enough for the taste.Taste: The shoyu ramen is average in taste. The broth still lacks flavor I usually look for in shoyu soup. The pork strips were very small in portion and the taste and texture were below Japense standards of chashu. The gyoza was too oily, it kept slipping off my chopsticks but the gyoza was flavorful and huge.Do I recommend this place? Yes.

Are you looking for sumptuous Filipino meals that are unlimited? P.O.P.S is here to delight you with their authentic Filipino comfort food. Affordable and very yummy. The parking is good, and the comfort rooms are okay. Service is fantastic, though we have to wait for a couple of minutes for the refill of the viands and it was all worth it. Saving grace is that each meat was so plump.Fisherman's catch (redtail style, mild spicy) - cravings satisfied! Tho we didn't find the missing crab claw meat 😂 Squid is kinda chewy also.Garlic vegetables - must have! We always order the mild red tail fisherman's catch and it always hits the spot. Must visit place if you're craving for seafood. Last time we visited, I wished the shrimp was cooked thoroughly though. The dip for the calamari was the beest! Enough zest to eliminate the "fishiness" of the squid.

Cravings satisfied! Just look at those fat, juicy shrimps! Better wear the supplied apron and use their plastic gloves. All the flavor will splatter and drip all over your shirt and face if youre eating too fast!

Great place, The Food is Great, The Service is great, The Food to cost ratio I think is reasonable. Clean place and spacious. We went here January this year and me and my family absolutely love here, and now where planning to come back here maybe around september, I'll post an update if the service and the food is still great but our first visit is absolutely great need some improvements in the space but still spacious enough for my family and extended family. Good for Boyfriend/Girlfriend date, Barkada Date and ofcourse Family Date/Bonding.

Love the place!They have enough staff who are also very nice.I love their seafoods. Can't wait to try more of their menu.
